How it works
First, we solve the "HOT FIN" problem.
Our “pre-cool” flash evaporation methodology (using mist water to cool ambient air temperature) is an effective means to increase heat flux (the rate of heat exchange) by lowering fin temperature.
Fin temperature is the primary function of heat transfer from the refrigerant to the fins; the cooler the fins, the faster heat can be removed from the coolant. Cool-n-Save decreases fin temperature by about 30%, which improves overall HVAC efficiency and performance.

All it takes is a little evaporative 'magic'.
About five years ago, our engineers discovered that the easiest way to solve the “hot fin” problem is with a little evaporative 'magic'. Our Cool-n-Save pre-cool system raises a “pre-cool shield” of treated water mist into the air around the HVAC unit. Flash evaporation causes the mist to evaporate almost instantly. The result is what engineers call an adiabatic boundary – a shield that literally insulates the HVAC from excess heat. Ambient air temperature around the unit drops by as much as 30°F. That means that if the ambient air temperature is 98°F, Cool-n-Save will knock it down to 68°F. The air then acts on the fins and increases heat exchange efficiency.
Relative humidity is the amount of moisture in the air compared to the amount of moisture the air could absorb at the same temperature. It is a crucial factor in determining cooling potential. The lower the relative humidity, the more water can be vaporized, and the more heat can be removed (see chart).
A solution that works in almost any climate.
Even in areas with high relative humidity the moisture level around HVAC coils is very low (less than 20%). This is due to the high heat output of the coils - about 85°F. That's why Cool-n-Save HVAC Pre-cool is effective in almost any climate.

With a properly installed system in place, Cool-n-Save treated water evaporates quickly enough to produce that crucial drop in ambient air temperature, which leads to the lower fin temperature and greater heat flux (temperature differential between coolant and fin). The result is that the condenser runs less frequently.
That's how Cool-n-Save reduces HVAC energy consumption by as much as 30%. |

Our guarantee. We afford the highest level of service to all of our customers. Every question is answered in a timely and professional manner; every concern is addressed to the very best of our ability.
-
Our commitment. Energy conservation for HVAC is our specialty - we are one of the first corporations to offer a proven low-cost, high-return solution for residential and commercial HVAC customers. We will work to keep our technology fresh and up-to-date. We will work with our customers to ensure that every opportunity to COOL more efficienty and SAVE every possible dollar is taken.
Year-round efficiency,
year-round savings with
Smart Pump™
All Cool-n-Save commercial systems rely on our proprietary controler device we call SmartPump. Not only does it link the flow of water from the building water supply to the system, but SmartPump also senses condenser activity through a low voltage relay switch connected to the HVAC thermostat. SmartPump balances water pressure and releases just enough treated water to each micro nozzle. The system also only activates when the ambient temperatures are just right - for maximum overall efficiency. This unit requires very little or no user attention. |
No scaling, no mineral build-up;
safe water treatment with Smart Release™
To combat potential mineral deposits from building up on your heat exchange coils, we developed a patented non-phosphate, environmentally friendly water treatment system that chemically removes most common sediments. Our proprietary polyacrylate treatment prevents minerals from bonding to each other and attaching to your HVAC condenser coils. Refilling the water treatment canisters is a simple process. Just unscrew the blue canister, refill it with the patented non-toxic, easy to handle cubes, and screw the canister back on. System shut down is not required.

We put the solution exactly where you
need it with
Smart Array™
We will design a network of tubing and micro mist nozzles based upon your HVAC equipment specifications and environmental variables. A specific pattern and size (number and deployment of the micro nozzles) will be selected to ensure that just enough treated water is available to create an effective pre-cool shield around your system. |
No corrosion on condenser coils
and fins with MicroGuard®
To ensure that you get the most from your investment, we will thoroughly clean and de-scale your heat exchange condenser coils. Optionally, we can also apply MicroGuard®, a patented anti-corrosion maintenance treatment that stops corrosion on coils, fins, copper tubes, fans and even oxidized cabinets. MicroGuard has also been proven to enhance heat exchange and increase HVAC efficiency. Microguard is optional. |
INSTALLATION
A standard installation usually takes from 1 to 2 days and may cost from $1,000 to $2,500 per condenser depending upon installation requirements and optional services (contact us for a quote). All installations are performed by our factory trained Authorized Dealers and Installers or by a local contractor of your choice using our instruction materials (some service restrictions may apply).
All installations that are performed by our Authorized Dealers and Installers, come with services such as condenser pre-cleaning, thermostat use evaluation, training, an optional maintenance program to insure maximum savings and energy conservation and optional anti-corrosion treatment (Micorguard). We will also install each system in a manner consistent with your building codes and business needs. This includes pump placement, secondary thermostat and timer switching, wire and hose harnessing, conduit running and other services as needed.
